Hey y'all, sorry for the late update. I finished early in the week but just forgot to set up tthe pre-upload. Can't seem to keep my mind all in one place for any length of time nowadays.

That's it for this scene. Expect some concept sketches while I work on thumbing the next scene.

Chippewa Ghost

Next challenge after the river of scorpions--some pants full of crabs!

Gonna be good to see what Teo's up to (or not).

Next is the River of Blood.

I'm kinda dreading the next scene because of all the stonework and crowd shots and such.

Can't believe she made it past the scorpions without a scratch!
I expected at least one of them to burrow underneath her skin and secrete a chemical that drove her insane and at the same time controlled her thoughts...hmm wait a minute..I think I just described Marcus's job! OK, never mind. Well I thought that at least the scorpions would have gnawed off one of her arms, hands, or legs or something.... But you know what, I like it this way! It gives me hope that Dara actually has a chance of defeating all of her trials and escaping hell! Or is this some other netherworld? Or...what is this place she is trapped in again? You have never told us! Have you?

I'm trying hard to follow the thread of the Mayan mythology. The hero twins use ingenuity or magic to cross the rivers. She'll have to rely just on the ingenuity.

She's in the Great Basin desert. Taking the long way to the Mayan underworld with the hope that they've got the answers she wants.

Right way based on what? :/
The right way is everywhere it seems. No pointers in sight. It is like a freaking stagnating fitness function using death penalty. Okay.
Anyway, I guess you can sense directions better in a dream world or an illusion world.

Based on the river. The assumption is that it wouldn't be there if they were going the wrong way.
